BISHAM BOYS TENNIS TEAM JUST MISS OUT.
After their unbeaten Winter League season Bisham Abbey's 14u boys team have found the Berkshire Summer League just that bit tougher. Twice now they have finished level at 2-2 after 3 singles & 1 doubles but then lost the deciding tie-break shoot-out to determine the winners.
Against Esporta from Bracknell NIALL COLLINS & HARRY SHIMMIN both won their singles matches but then COLLINS & ALEX ROE lost the decisive doubles shoot-out 10/4. It was then a similar story against Woodland from Reading with COLLINS & TOM HOLMES this time missing out 10/5.
However NIALL COLLINS has continued his impressive singles form this week between the rain showers at The Caversham Junior Open with 2 fine victories in the 14u singles including beating 2nd seed JACK HOWARTH 6/0 6/2.
