JUNIOR ACADEMY PROGRAMME
• Players have continued to spend time on site in preparation for the start of the Programme.
SENIOR ACADEMY PROGRAMME
• Four boys and three girls travelled to South Africa to take part in two Grade 2 ITF events.
• Apart from playing in the tournaments the two weeks also included a training camp, headed up by Martin Lee and Richard O’Connor. Results can be found in our News pages.
Quote from Richard:
“Getting up at 6.30 in the morning paid off in the end. With early starts and late finishes, having a solid daily structure at Bisham helped every player to pace themselves through two long hard weeks. The training facilities in South Africa were adequate and the highlight session of the trip was seeing the guys doing stadium hops in Pretoria - have their thighs forgiven them yet?? Overall, all results were well deserved and hopefully with the self- knowledge they have gained the players will be able to improve on these performances in the future."
MINI TENNIS PROGRAMME
• 328 bookings have been made for the summer camps to be held in three venues, hopefully feeding into term time courses.
